Call centre merge ..... both call line also merge into one , commuters dial 6552-2222 , it will be re-direct to Comfort centralised 6552-1111 call centre .
Customers might get a Blue Comfort even if they dial 6552-2222 , or vice versa , customers will get a CityCab even if they dial 6552-1111 .
Good for commuters .
No good for cabbies . Cabbies has got competitions .
Effective date rumour to be May 2006 . -

However, ComfortDelGro back then stated commutters have choice on the taxi brand still -
yeah.. more competition for the 16000++ comfort cabbies, but more calls means more chances to get a booking.

i wanna ask arh.. how do u call a cab? i never call once before.. human operator is it?

If no book before , u press 2 , operator will attend to you , u just tell them where are your location and pick up point , and destination , they will despatched a cab to you in 5-8 minutes . latest 15 minutes .
Lastly , remember to listen to the taxi number , don't hang up the phone first .
An what u need to do next , just wait for the taxi to arrive . ! -

If I am a Comfort Cabby, I dun pay the rental, road tax...
Indv are as if they are the owners of the cab

It work this way
Comfort phone-in network has already capture your phone numbers , so as to facilitate your next booking , that need not go thru any operator . -

Also the merging of three companies into one does no favour to the accident quota to ComfortDelgro .
And the booking requirement set by LTA , does not favour due to merging . -

yday morning i call comfort.......sorry we are unable to locate a cab for u.......so i hold....and still cannot get cab
then i switch to citycab lumber.....almost immediately got cab liao
but have to wait 10 to 12mins -

most ppl telephone priority: Comfort > CityCab > SMRT > etc

Caucasians usually asked for crown when booking time when they have three or more person boarding the taxi .
If they dun request , can you imagine , 4 giants squeeze into the smaller corona taxi .
