Now there is a complication , those new private own taxi companies don't agree to it on the first phase , they want LTA to sub$idi$e them on a few i$$ue$ , before they want to talk about doing LTA a favour , cos this EZ Link Company is owned by LTA , not the bus companies .
Only Comfort / CityCab and SMRT interested , this one no need to say , Garmen own companies ma .
Meaning EZ Link is a network by LTA , those bus and mrt fares will go direct into this EZ Link Account , then LTA give the respective fare back to the respective bus/mrt companies via Giro network . -

Hate cab drivers who accept the fare but ask me how to go. Then when i express uncertainty he start to get prissy. He behave as if I am not paying for his time. Useless person.
Happened to me once when I just got back from overseas. Haven't change into Sinkaporean mode yet so kenna eaten by the taxi driver. -

Nicoll Highway? I live around there for 14 years already, almost every driver use PIE (Cos i live very near the entrance/exit). its really selfish not to pay for ur taxi fare...what makes it worst are those who reached the destination and then proclaim they got no $,these ppl are fuktard!
club,shop,gf,shopping but cant pay...
im no taxi driver but i do know these taxi driver slog hard
so we shld pay our due when we reach destination isnt it
i dun take taxi when i got no $,unless my parents are at home
this way,upon reaching destination,i pass the driver my IC and then go up get $ and then back down to return the $ and then claim back IC
anotehr alternative is oso to implement scaning of IC upon boarding so as to put passenger name of hold till they've paid upon reaching destination -

actually most taxi fares shouldnt exceed $20 for most places...
once at midnght 50% surcharge time, the cab fare ran up to about $20, but we only had $18... so told cabby to stop the cab when the meter reaches $18.. but he was very nice and carry on to the destination
maybe they are thankful they can get such a long distance midnite fare
