hmm...taxis got no nets ar?...they accept only credit cards right? i always got this habit of taking cab then stop at atm machine to draw out cash to pay the cabby.

but thats actually cos im late for school and dont have the time to wait for him to count three 10 cent coins and pass them to me...

Once I took a cab w my friend and the cab fare was less than $10.. When arrive liao, I realised didnt have small change in my wallet, only $50, so asked my friend. So he was checking his wallet also...
then we kenna scolded by the taxi driver say how come we wait until destination then purposely slowly look for change (piangz. We didnt take THAT long.. maybe at most 30 secs before he said that.) .. his time is MONEY and we already wasted like 10-20 cents of his time liao....
I got really pissed so I said we are looking for smaller note for you, mister.
Then he got cheek to say ... Who say I need small note?? U never ask act clever for what?
Walao... really piss off man. I mean obviously u KNOW we were looking for smaller change for u cos I was asking my friend "eh.. got smaller note?" He could just have said Its ok I got change. -

That 10%+5% surcharge is taken by the taxi company .
Cabby only take the meter fare .
Cham Siong at the expense of cabby ? Not really a cabby would want to do that , anyway , 15% not a big deal if the meter fare of $10 ($11.50 total ) .
Unless your taxi fare is amounting to $100 per trip , that's total $115 , $15 excess . Can cham siong , or else ........ aiyo , close two eyes , open door and go la ....
