Does pandan leaves really deter roaches?

seen in lotsa cabs b4.
cabby told me its to deter roaches.
does it really work? -
They make me nauseous.
But in the first place, why would roaches be in the taxis if the taxi owners cleaned them properly?

Erm, I don't think so but frm what I know, the pandan leaves that you sometimes find in cabs are meant for fragrance purposes

but the pandan leaves have to be fresh.
when they become dried, have to change to fresh ones... otherwise they become the very source that attract roches.... -
It works for my house.
My mum have been using it.
The cockcroaches seem to be concussed with the pandan leaf around and surrender themselves.
Bundle them and place it at the bottom gap of your front door. -

my new cupboard just came and my mum used pandan leaves to get rid of the woody smell. boy the pandan leaves smell sticks on my clothes too

Some of leaves are placed under my bed.
Sometime, they attack from the sewage or corridor windows. -

It works , no joke , how i dunno , but those senior drivers seemed to find this way the most economical , and effective way to get rid of staunch and insects .
For me , i very modern , i buy BayGon ! Psssssssss..........

No la , i usually buy those get rid of c*o*c*k*roach and ants powder . It works for me , i can't stand other smells other than my arm-pits !
take my taxi , guarantee not pandan frangrance , no cheapo air freshener , no expensive colgne , just arm-pits smell .

One reason i don't like it , i always go hungry , everytime i smell pandan leaves , it reminds me of Nasi Lemak , yummyyyyy ..... -

Taxi run with aircon 24 hrs , sure got moisture , got misture sure attract ants la , roach la , mouse la , moth la , butterfly la , lizard la ....... dinosaurs la ... -
