Booking of cab and travel more than 1 destination is not the customer's fault, is the operator's fault for not asking clearly. You might want to phone them and scold them later.
At night especially MS is quite hard to wait for cab, it is not a problem of wo hua or bo hua question. If they really want to save that pathetic money, why bother taking cab? Walk home better right?
They take cab and travel to 4 place is for their convenience, and have companion on their journey home.
This is your job to deliver customer and send them to their destination, since you choose this line, respect it.

ComfortDelgro will be quite neutral with this , cos cabbies and taxi operators are a partnership , if every taxi drivers got sacked because of this type of comments , then the company will be in deep deep troule , they have got no drivers left , u know ? Yar 10 pm is sure a lot of things to do to, like bugis area or selegie area. Please "patrol" these area more often -.- I can't get my cab there always. -

You win some you lose some, for both customers and drivers *shrug* -
I think the most logicial thing is to ask the driver first.
for example, if you know you paying with $50, do highlight to driver.
most times, even if driver doesn't have change, as I highlighted, they will try to do something. and most of them are appreciative that I told them upfront.
I think it is important to think of taxi drivers as also people earning a living, so we the more fortunate ones should try not to put more stress on these people.
For me, driving 2-3hrs is really tiring, imagine them doing it for 10 or more hours. -
Taxi drivers still provide a service. regardless of weather the customer is being unreasonable or not , the customer is still right , thats the whole thing about the service industry.... compare our service and the ones in hong kong... i was just there ... and i can say that they provide loads better service... in the long run , they will survive...

they have better service, yes, but see the rate they charge for taxi.
if you tried taking cab in japan-tokyo, and yes, they have excellent service, but your heart beat would stop once you take a look at the meter..
i think if sg cabbies are given such a "pay" also, they will not mind providing the excellent services too..isnt it? say like 50 dollars from amk to orchard?
btw, i dun like cabbies, cuz they drive quite reckless, but i cant blame them, they are making a living, imagine driving 10hrs per day, you think everyone can take it?
it is those people who are staying comfortably in their office, doing internet and near to almost nothing, yet getting high salary for their effort could blame the cabbies..driving 10 hrs per day is a torture, try askijng those office job ppl to drive..
i tell you, 1 week and they would complain more things than the cabbies not complain.. -

since this is providing a service might as well do a good job at it... even though $$$ is at stake but still the customer also wan their money worth so cannot hold so much grudge on ppl who also wan to save on their transport cost... tink if u were them u might do the same thing too...

It is a difficult situation for them. I wouldn't blame them too much. Nor is there a need for the cab driver to be so abusive. Simply write in the newspaper forums to bring this up. Only then people will do something.
