Poolman works just as hard for a living as all of us do. True, the methods may seem unscrupulous to some, but you have to remember we're all working together for our futures. Ever heard of Darwin's theory of evolution? It's survival of the fittest. To survive you've got to be cunning, to put it simply.

What i did is successful for me and my family , do i care ? No , I don't .
If i don't get a decent salary to feed my family , do the people here care ? I will be surprised if they did .

From what Poolman describes, there is nothing wrong with what he did what. Its true there are cheapskate customers like these. Of cos, if the antics are unethical like purposely take longer routes and pretend not to give back change etc...then of cos that is wrong. In this case, Poolman was just describing how he got back at an 'unethical' customer.
Lets just remember, taxi drivers dun make millions or get rich by driving a taxi. They are just ordinary folks who are not rich like some buggers out there and since most people who take taxis aint rich also, why not show more understanding instead of just complaining at the slightest provocation. -

for once i dun feel sorry for this customer. everyone earning for living, but i don't like cabbies who only go for on-call.. curse em to hell.
cuz i dun call for cab, usually i walk along road towards mrt station, if gt cab take, no cab dun take.
so far most of the cabbies who took me are quite nice, never go long route or wad.
even in jb the cabbies oso nice nice one. maybe i heng ba. -

This shows being a cabby isnt as simple as going round looking for customners, press button for on-call, go pump diesel change shift etc.. but must also think of the fastest way to earn the highest posible income.. afterall, every cabby is there to earn a living isnt it?
