First day of taxi fare increase

Not too bad , not much negative impact .
CBD area and town area , in time to come , still need to call for a cab .
Not much complaint from commuters to me .
Still received tipping as usual .
Taking long distance trip is punishing for commuters .
So people staying Woodlands , Yishun and Sembawang , take note , better take a bus or MRT , taxi fare is about $2.00 more expensive than before .
Also Sengkang and Punggol side .....
Impact not so much when taking shorter distance . Just about 70cents increase for a $5.00 trip .
Anyway , thank you Singapore for your support to taxi services ! -
To be precise , overall it's about 18% increase from the previous meter charge .
Like $10 trip , you are going to pay $11.80 now .

But wondering , how you chose taxi inside the taxi-stand ? If the front taxi is Comfort , push the one behind you to take comfort ?
Buay ma-lu meh ?
Or you call for one non-comfort-delgro ones ?
heard the Smart taxi call-centre not really smart , damn teruk one , true or not ? before the increase already bad , now with a higher demand for their taxi , sure even more bad .

but the taxi stand issue hor, is just take lor. bo bian is bo bian. tahan one more week also all the same liao... the 2 companies population too small, so won't be bothered to wait for them liao... -
18% really quite significant... esp midnite fare
but then, that dollar or 2 increase, most people wont feel the pinch
