Do not drive a cab if dunno how to go BUGIS!!!

actually a large part of the reason for taking a cab is get to a place faster,if end up took even longer due to cabbie mistake,then why should we pay even the normal fare,it has become a transport mis-service instead of the service we are entitle to when we pay a premium for faster transportation.
Got once i really bochup,i was late for an appointment,i got into the cab,told the cabbie my destination,he took off without saying anything,drive awhile then suddenly tell me dunno how to go.......i also do not know the route there....then i tell uncle how? Guess what he did....he passed me his street directory,ask me to look at it and tell him slowly which way to turn or what.....zzzzzzzz i customer leh,you think i am your training guide ah.... i frick care,ask him to stop and i got out and walk off,he is not fit to earn my money. -

By the time when vehicles reached Tekka mall, it is already very near to Bugis.
So, what does that mean?
1) It means he/she is not professional
2) He/she is not interested in the cabby career.......... -

BUT i think its not fair to generalize. But in this case, sometimes u can see if the cabbie is really lost..But i feel that if its his fault and the fare went up substantially, the cabbie should offset the price a bit.
Happened to me. Fren was on taxi and i was waiting my block. Due to some miscommunication, the cabbie actually took afew rounds around my area before finally finding the place. But he was so apologetic he kept saying sorry and even offerered to cut the price by a dollar or 2.. Was really impressed by his actions.

Any singapore men above the age of 40 confirm sure know where is Bugis. Or u can tell him middle road guan xin temple mah. Now from wat u mention, I can tell this driver act blur. He is out to cheat u. Btw, how old is that act blur taxi driver? Mind tell us here his cabby number? wah seh...if thats the case...next time i take cab...if i am not sure how to get there...and the driver oso don't know...i might as well leave the cab and wait for another cab...

What I am angry or shocked is, he dunno where is BUGIS!!
He should tell me he dunno where in the first place. Then i can take another cab and won't be late for my appt. -
But sometimes the cabby may not be living in CCK liao
U don't think if every taxi in CCK the cabby must be living in CCK , of cos not!
Some cabbies happen to be in CCK as they just drop the last pax around the area.. -
