Yes , but got $0.30 extra administration charge if wanna pay by NETS on taxi fare ....... starting from next month ( November ) .
Only on Comfort , Yellow-Top & CityCab taxis , but not all Comfort , Yellow-Top and CityCab ....... not until next year . -

theres a 30cents surcharge for using NETS!
only 500 cabs are installed with the NETS terminal, but all comfortdelgro cabs will be equipped by 2007..
like that next time customenrs no more excuses like no more cash, no small change etc

If people pay by NETS, then how do you claim back the fare? Ain't taxi drivers almost "self-employed"?

If EZLink is install on the taxis , i think most of the students will take taxis instead

I really have doubts about the security of using NETS in taxis .... if those people can slot a card-scanner at ATM ........ those syndicate can really gang up taxi drivers to strike such things again ....
Of course there are measures , but how far the measures can stretch ? -
taking a cab is getting more and more expensive. use nets also need to pay more $$. sigh~~
