Hi guys lately I notice that trans cab is sorta weird?cause I took it twice the other day and it cost me $11.60 instead of the usual $7.00-$8.00 for the first trip.The taxi driver was kind and charged $8.00 but my uncle gave him $10.On the other occasion,it was already 8:15PM and when I boarded the clock inside the cab was 7:58 wth.To prove my watch is not fast,1)On every occasion,my watch is always aligned with most of the taxi meters except for like +-1 or 2 mins max 2)Everyones watch who boarded that cab was 8:15PM. \
Than the other day actually wanted to take cab ,than Trans-Cab come pretend never see and wave hand,few seconds later City Cab come wah very happy.
Got take receipt ?
If no .......... then difficult to take action .
If got take , just lodge a complaint to LTA , they will sent that said taxi for meter inspection , if found the meter is tampered with , that driver will kana teruk teruk from LTA .
What charge ? Tampering the taxi meter without prior approval from the authority .
so the clock can be manually adjusted and affect the meter readings?
like that peak hour, midnight charge can cheat alot!!
