Funny , i pick and choose customers almost everyday , how come nobody bother to complain me ?
I break the rules almost everyday , i "TAXI" no picking customer at Suntec , wait for call la , I 8pm "Changing Shift Jurong" la , i 10pm at taxi stand click to BUSY and drive off la , no complain !!!
Just waiting for our Enforcement officer to call me , waited for 5 years , still waiting ...... -
Also funny enough , Comfort actually rewarded me 3 points with good service ( that time i help Caucasian with her grocery , cos she paid me extra $5 tips ), 3 points with no complaints , 3 points high job-taker ..... 6 points honesty ( return 2 customers 2 lousy handphones ) .
This Merc driver also stupid , wanna take ang mo , don't do it infront of locals la . Damn stupid !
If i'm that Merc driver , this 2 customers i treat transparent one , only those customers willing to pay $4 booking then i treat them visible . -

Sentosa ...... LTA regulations states that cabbies are not suppose to pick up any customers anywhere in Sentosa other than at Hotel lobby , and taxi stands located near Palawan Beach , Siloso beach , Tanjong Beach and Dolphin Logoon .

The facts is ..... Singapore has not enough cabbies , they will try to keep cabbies in their line if the matter is tiny . Resolve with a stern warning is what they'll do eventually .

A warning is better than none. According to offences under LTA, if complaint is justified, at least he will get 3 demerit points + $100 fine. There is only a few cases i saw they lost their job .... they beat up customers , threaten customers , cheated customers , violence conduct ......
As for one chose not to pick up customers with pets , no one even gets a stern warning .... cos this is a very good valid reason . -
