  If it happens to me , i will drive to the nearest police post and ask police-man for small change .

  took them half an hr to get me change.

  Last time I was a cashier in a major departmental store and occasionally people buy very little things and pay it up with a $1000 note. So lan lan have to go to the main office to change lor, but I curse and swear under my breath or think whether to detour out of the store with the note and never come back.

  in the first place, you can afford to take 1,000 note to walk around for taxi you no need to take taxi liaoz.
  
  If i am driver,i will take your 1,000 note and offer you to drive around for one week. Otherwise, i see you at mata chu...

  No need one hr la , go to any atm withdraw $990 , 5 minute anytime la ... which taxi driver doesn't have $1000 in the bank ? Their salary if don't put in the bank , put where ?
  
  I will only have problem if their pay me a $10,000 note , have or not ? Cos my ATM only allow me $2000 per withdrawal per day .

  do u know their rental is everyday thru GIRO one? of cos they must keep quite a bit of money inside. one day $92, last than 2 weeks finish liao.
