After the Old Central Star Ferry Piers' closure on 12 November 2006, the taxi stand of this ferry pier was the only part still open to public.
Some one week after STN visited this taxi stand, the Old Central Star Ferry Piers was finally demolished. This is to make way for the reclaimation works.
48 years of service together with the Star Ferry...............and this taxi stand was finally gone together with this magnificient British-style structure.
This taxi stand, together with the ferry pier, will be remebered by everyone dearly.
