CNG Taxis

I'm quite disappointed most of the new taxis are still using diesel, not CNG. Hope the govt provide greater support towards a cleaner air and build more refilling stations islandwide to encourage car users and taxis to switch to CNG. Its common to have a CNG refilling bay at majority of petrol kiosks such as Australia and even Malaysia!
off-topic: What about CNG motorbikes, lorries, vans, etc etc too? -

Prime taxis is a new company taxis in Singapore using CNG gas starting from next week. There were 500 cabs in first year.It is the sixth taxi operators in Singapore.The colour is pink and it is toyota wish.Right now first 20 cabs coming out first starting from next week.

theres only 1 cng station in singapore currently. n thats on jurong island. to access it, u gotta register and change pass at the mainland checkpoint everytime u wan to go top up.
maybe that puts off most drivers -

well, at least the new diesel taxis are Euro IV compliant. no additional costs on infrastructure, why not?

Next time you take a cab for only 2.4km.... you pay 20 bucks for using CNG fuel... you want?

Government should let the current petrol stations in singapore sells CNG so that vehicles running on CNG no need to go Jurong Island or JB to get CNG.

I heard i full tank of CNG can only run 200km,is it true?

I read from news that Citycab has 8 taxis running on CNG , are they both Toyotas & Nissans. I remember Citycab does have a Nissan Cab running on CNG right? Is it scrapped? Hope that next year the Euro 4 Nissan Cedrics will come out or CNG is also not bad.
