This taxi always 'breaks down' at certain times
This taxi always seems to suffer a breakdown just before dawn. Is it pure coincidence or something more deliberate?
Observant STOMPer Kelly Pan says she always spots this taxi at her neighbourhood. The driver would fiddle with his bonnet as if the taxi is suffering a breakdown.
In a 30 October email to STOMP, she said:
"Recently in my neighbourhood, there is a SMART taxi which catches my attention.
"He always parks at the entrance of the rubbish chute before dawn and lift up his bonnet to pretend his taxi is breakdown."

the taxi driver is checking the vehicle for fault before handing the vehicle to the next driver! -

This SMART cabby very SMART , indeed .
HE save $$$ on season parking ma ... $65 on open air carpark , or $90 for multi storey .
If he park there , pretending a break-down , and then when the car park attendant come , that cabby can actually escape a fine if the car park attendant knew the cabby's intention .
Sometime car park attendant people , if nice , they might just close one eye . -

Like what i said on stomp , a taxi travels for 24 hrs a day non - stop , even if they did , the most is 1/2 hr , their engine often run hot & therefore the driver got to do that in order to cool down the engine. This stomper is 100% a non driver & he/she know nuts about cars! The driver is highly doing this so that after the engine is cooled down , he can add in water & engine oil to the engine. You cant do that when the engine is hot.

Two women were going on a trip in an old beetle (VW) car... and before they left the friend told the driver to better check the oil and water first level first.
The driver said she never checked before and so the friend said that she will check for her.
"Open up the bonnet" the friend told the driver and she went to the front and open up the bonnet.
The friend stared inside and then told the driver... "Lucky I asked you to check, someone has stolen your car's engine."
