He's a pure Singaporean .... in Singapore almost near to 40 years ... and he ....
actually failed the first time !!!
And can only passed it at the 2nd attempt .
Do u think to get a taxi license is easy ?
As for now , i think .... NO ! Not easy now ! -
So to those who think foreigners is the solution to taxi problems ..... go and think hard about it .

I am driving full-time and looking at the Hyundai Sonata as driving manual transmission for more than 12 hours a day is no joke, the only problem is whether ComfortDelGro Taxi Business has stock for the model.

That takes a brave soul.....but solo means you can cherry pick all the prime time to drive... just don't fall sick

Of course taxi driver can drive solo, law never stated that the hirer must have a relief. Most solo driver knock off at 2000 hrs.

Actually, the rule is very hard to implement one lah in practice.
the only clear cut case is after the pax indicate the location and the cabby reject the business then it is clearly an offence.
Other than that, say if after i dropped off my last customer to rest or go toilet, then the next customer get in, then I must die die drive him? Make no sense. Usually if I am changing shift, I will make sure I tell the pax where i am heading to before he opens his mouth. Like that not wrong liao...
