Wow ! 100,000 bookings a day .... a cool $70,000 profit a day . -
With fare increase, there will be less calls. Hence comfort's adv versus the other taxi companies will be eroded. So not surprising to hear that from comfort CEO.... every one for his own.... but i really think raising surcharge by at least $2 in CBD will ease commuters' pain although many commuters do not think so...

Actually if Premier , Transcab and Smart , joined forces to up the flag down ..... comfort and SMRT will follow .....

What the chairman says is also quite true , there they are increasing the taxi fare to cope with their business & here the government is , increasing the price of fuel , so increasing taxi fares doesn't solve the problem.
