  though it was common sense that the rise in fare is gg to lessen the business for taxi drivers, they just don't care...
  
  eventually, people will go back to their usual transportation habit...

  hmm... that means only fares above $14 will benefit. $14 already quite a lot to many.... anyway $5 will still be perceived as too high by commuters... comfort and taxi and commuters headache ah...
