Security Deposit : $1500
Daily Rental $109
5 Years Contract
Upon completion of contract , $18k bonus payout .
Unlike Prime , they allowed 2 reliefs . -
equivalent to 165 days rental free after 5 years. rental damn ex.

can take. Smart is opening new pump for CNG at Mandai.

$18K..that means 33 rental free days a year. but must think carefully cos 5years contract.
me rather stick to one year contract type... 5 years a lot of things can change....knn later they increase rental skyhigh or CNG cock up then don't know how.
my hirer's other relief quitting soon... think me also kena kicked out of soon if my hirer cannot find replacement soon...
but sat shift should be easy to find

I wont take cos too ex... $109 CNG tank has limited range so at times you need to switch to petrol , not worth la think can only hit 10 km/l .. I rather take prime axio at $69 a day ...and more fuel economical @ 15 km/l , you work out the extra cash to fork out for rental and petrol

Interesting I have been toying with the idea to take up a prime cab as a private car ... seriously you only need to achieve clock about 3 hrs to 4 hrs a day and you can recover the rental for the day liao .. i have a prime axio here alway park at carpark suspect he is doing that -

That Camry fule consumption , if use the No.99 fuel tank , the other smaller version No.66 tank . the 99 fuel tank one full tanl cost about run up to 270km , the maximum is $20 full tank , i calculated per km = $0.68 cents .
Diesel per km = $0.91 cents -
hey sean, can u tell me more details about prime rate? rental, number of rental free day, diesel/CNG price per litre, bonus, sign up bonus. Toyotoa Wish daily rental coming to $90 .
Cheapest one is Honda Airwave , $69.90 .
They only allowed one relief , one day per week . -

if CNG open at serangoon, good lah.
me just checked with prime. Must sign 5 years to get both 11K pay out and 5K deposit back. If quit b4 5 years, 16K gone.
During 5 years, rental confirmed won't change ($69 before gst)
One other obstacle is the accident excess - max $2500 (own repair) and max $1500 (third party) bloody expensive... must be confident driving then sign up...
like that monitor longer first... see how comfort or others react after CNY -

If you take diesel taxis(such as E220 CDi) you get to enjoy a turbocharged engine that delivers plentiful torque.
Anyway,i hope the taxi companies bring in the E420 CDi....300hp V8 fantasy

I think it's rather pointless at the end of the day for a taxi company to have different pricing from other companies.
example, look at prime taxis.. how many people know that they are the "cheapest" peak hour surcharge now?
also, they have so few taxis.. how to make a difference? but anyhow I supporting prime taxis only now.. first company i call if i wan to book taxi.. since their peak hour $2 only.. especially if u wan go pasir ris - jurong.. save A LOT. -

while I was working in m'sia, I used a lot of their public taxi (the red and white types). The taxi driver told me that a FULL TANK of CNG can only travel approx 160km before they have to refill again. In KL only Petronas has CNG and only limited stations ( I think 4 stations in KL) have them. Beside that, those stations that have CNG pump operates half of the pumps during each time thus the long queue (but thats another debate/problem altiogether). COming back to SG, do we know
1. the tank size of those camry taxi or even the approved ones for private cars? What I am interested is the estimated km per tank one can achieve before the need to refill.
2. The cost of CNG per litre? Not sure if CNG is measured in Litre.

Why don't they use Hybrid Taxis like the Toyota Prius? I heard the fuel consumption is amazing, esp. with city driving.

My understanding is that hybrid uses a combo of electric and petrol (electric kicks in when its at cruising speed? or above x speed, or above x rpm?). My only assumption is that the frequency (the battery pack dont last as long as the cars) and the cost of the battery maintenance is high today. This is what I am hearing on the street. How much dollar on petrol are we really saving with these cars? I have NOT seen any numbers yet. IF you are a 'green' person, then mebbie there is a reason to buy (plus the rebate from LTA).
Today a normal car battery (maintenance free Amaron) which will last about 1 - 2 years will set you back approx 100SGD. Some of us already grumbling so what if you have to change the battery pack on the hybrid every 5 years at a cost of 3000SGD? Will you still consider? Similiarly why arent we going solar in our home? The battery is the killer cost for solar setup as well.
