How to understand, just try some outing today looking for a friend at street 45, Tampines go along Ave 7 he told me 481H by mistake and his phone is switch off , yes there is Block 481 but no Block 481H round and round for nearly half an hour. Finally there is 491H but there is 481. What is this HDB block run this way. Now I understand what is Taxi Driver job, alway got bombarded. -

Honestly speaking , 99% of my customers are great people .
usually it's i went into the route customers don't want to go one , then they question u .
So i always deal with it this way : " Sorry , for me , this is the best route and fastest for us , ok if u think it's the longer route , just pay me whatever u pay for , using the other route that u want , it's ok with me . "
If she/he stops the grumbling ,That's it , that's the deal .
If she/he goes on ....
I will add something even more nastier , like : " Even it does make a different , $1 ? $2 ? Or even $3 , does not make me a millionaire anyway , if that makes u fat , then u can minus $5 from the metre , even free if u want ! "

My Sonata colleagues all say until can fly , but ..... i prefer the driver's side leg-space of Crown , Sonata ? My left knee kept hitting the the left side .
Can u imagine , 3 customers chose Crown ahead of mine Sonata at Boat Quay tonight !
Maybe it's the price , maybe .
I never ever drove a car with so many blind spots !! That explain why many Sonata drivers instal an extra convex side mirror , for a better look at blind spot .
U all go and observe those side mirror .
I kept comparing Sonanta with my friend's Odyssey .
Both also auto ma .
Overall .... due to automatic , i got less fatigue .
When u are less fatigue , u just got that extra edge thru out the night .
It's a brand new experience for me , i have to change my style of driving , cos this vehicle is not going to change for me .

Give yourself some time to get use to the Sonata...one thing though...pay attention to the brakes... I find them too soft for my liking...even though i dont speed n burn tyres.....
Another encouraging consolation is passegers will choose Sonata over the toyota....
I experience this myself especially female passengers.... they would rather wave a Sonata then a Toyota...hehehehehe
Gone too...your driving fatigue.... less breaks n you can drive longer or more productively.
As for the blind spots... I keep hearing about it n notice the extra side mirrors installed... u will get use to it.... I am driving mine without any extra mirrors...
I guess it is up to each individual driving style n habits......
Actually I enjoy the Sonata engine ..without aircon..it is quite torque n smooth. -

I am driving both sonata and crown (with 2 different hirers)... personally it is sonata no horse run for me... quiet, smooth, very good pick up, new, good leather, good exterior look.... This Crown consume very low diesel .

On the fuel consumption was told mercz cdi has the best consumption can return at least 13 to 14 km per litre extremey good for a turbo diesel auto -
nowadays i never like to go airport. cos i dont like to queue for 1-2 hours. but the long q to PIE is partly due to the new taxi q (bad planning) from T3. Becoming a road hazard and a bad image for singapore airport.... but i believe after CNY the q will shorten cos more cabbie return taxi
authority says will monitor 3-4 months. i believe by then the taxi earning will indeed mprove to be similar as before fare hike cos for the same reason that less taxis on road... more return taxi and fewer dare to become new hirers...supply adjustment...
