Someone commented in the ST Forums recently its a waste to find so many 24hr petrol kiosks in sg, which he felt is a waste of electricity and resources.
Had he ever thought of night-shift taxi drivers and others who are working in the wee hours while he is asleep? And if a drunken pax puke inside the taxi during the night, where is the poor taxi driver going to have taxi cleaned? and what about punctured tyres, etc etc?
I knew of a taxi driver who knew the locations of 24hrs petrol kiosks and even those kiosks which provide cleaning services, in case someone pukes inside his taxi.
This people really got nothing to write , is it ?
Hey , u reply to them la , get them to off the Expressway's Lightings ..... for all Expressways , then Singapore will save Billions of dollars each year from electricity .

Very weird I can say , I believe this person only thinks of him/herself , So what if waste of electricity and resources? Very selfish. Maybe or i guess this person should think twice before saying anything that doesn't really bother him/her.
I found the letter very amusing. It was as if some authority was forcing the petrol kiosks to open 24 hours. Obviously not. This is a purely commercial decision.
It would be a different story if the Govt pass a law saying that petrol kiosks must open 24hrs.
