With effect from 7th May 2008 , 12am sharp .
From $1.03 per litre , to $1.13 per litre ....
As in $0.10 increase per litre ...
300 km travel , $3 increase , compare to current price .
What the f*ck !!!
so the main question is..
will the increase be passed onto the commuters..![]()
Alvin , when i first drove a taxi , that time i drove the Toyota Corona , 7 years old Corona , si bey jiat you , knn only $0.44 / litre , whole day chiong like fuck , only $18 maximum !!!!
Now u complaining , i immune liao ..... i want business only .
So my solution ?
Go into City take the CBD surcharge , do my maximum intake i can have when i am vacant , ready for new customers .
If CBD got ready-made $3 , i will forgo call at $3.50 outside CBD area .
The best it's CBD with booking , can cover for quite a bit of diesel cost .
SMRT diesel @ S$1.32 per litre effective 19 May 2008 at 2200 hrs onwards.
so the prices for CNG remains unchanged..![]()

no demand sure has to be unchanged .
Diesel high demand , so price follow market rate .

David ,u switch to SMRT , is it ?
not surprising...
they already said they won't increase rental fee....
they didn't say they won't increase diesel price...
diesel hike is base on market forces , taxi companies can really do nothing .
I for one never blame comfort for the hike .
In fact , reverse , i appreciate what comfort did to subsidise a bit for us as in rebate form .
