Anyone switched more to taking train recently?

  Need some feedback from those who take taxi quite frequently.... how many of you switch more or totally to taking train in the evening as a result of the increased frequency of the SMRT? Please share your experience...

  regardless of peak or non-peak hrs, I'll always depend on buses or trains unless if I'm really in a hurry or that destination that I want to go is really ulu..

  since the most recent hike, i have sworn off cabs unless the following conditions:
  - if past midnight and no NR available
  - life & death situations
  - some ulu zulu place that no bus services ply
  - with a disabled/sick person
  - somebardie wanna send me home and willing to pay for the cab fare

  i respect your choice of transport. I also have my traveling pattern and choice... just curious what keeps you interested in this taxi forum? I usually only read forums that I have some interests in... cars, taxi...

  i take taxi only about 3 or 4 times a year.
  
  never take it unless really running late. otherwise, will make the effort to make time for journey by bus/train.
