  This issue split the diesel when hand over reliefs to hirers or hirers to reliefs there is alway probelms and arguments, than they divorce this is very common. What is full tank this is very subjective. when the nozzle stop than top another 5 dollars as my hirer request, this is full tank. Some hirers said you need to shake the taxi until the diesel settle to it lower than you pump until you see bubbles to the top than you close, that is full. So when you start talk this issue, best avoid troubles arise.

  after driving with 5 hirers, i find paying for diesel cost by mileage is the most hassle free. meaning both decide how many km 1 litre of diesel can go... then you top up based on milege... clear cut, no argument... my current old hirer has been pumping full full for 30 years... but the new sonata very hard to pump full full... but he will patiently pump for at least 15 mins until not one more drop of diesel can go in... i told him i impatient type... then he agrees we calculate by milege... everyone happy

  So go to the kiosk take a look. like one in Ang Mo kio st 63 at the peak hours where there are many Taxis (3pm to 5pm). What bubbles they pull out the nozzle from the taxi fuel tank and peek inside the tank through that tank hole and slowly add-on the diesel to the tank until you can see bubbles on the diesel, so this show that you know nothing what i am talking about. understand...Go see for yourself.

Shake the Taxi reason, i stop driving CityCab with one hirer and change to Comfort cause this is the reason, he wanted me when you top-up the diesel when the nozzle stop, you need to shake the Taxi and let the diesel just you pump before to settle to it lower than you top-up until near to the cap than you close. Still this kind Beng practising by some Taxi Drivers in the bus deport daily you can see it. Wat toking u? wisdom listen. Did you know.

  shaking the diesel tank is like shaking off those excess bubbles .... not much of a diff la for me...... no good la shaking , will damage the meter reading , cos u damage the gauge inside the tank .

  Sonata is ok la ...

  Like u hit $320km tat day .... u must top at least 32 litres , then u slowly filled the diesel until u see the diesel not going slowly down , until the diesel takes longer time to go down the tank , then i can say u are doing ok with filling up .

  I nvr had any problems with my partner regarding diesel issues .

  I nvr calculate so much as long as it's reasonable . he also nvr calculate .

  Calculative will caused partnership to rot .

  If both parties dun take each other for granted , then the relation will be good .
