Hey Guru, why arrow me. You know during day shift every route you go there are so many Penguin Hunter Taxis equip with their Happoon Missile eyes looking for their prey for target sometime three of four empty infront you, So Competition alway there from various,but you must know how to manoeuvre with your machine to over run them other change to the next route. For me, i oready hit 300km or more on per day shift run. the market is open for all. haha. Airpilot are clock by how many time they fly. So -

I was his relief , then i went into OMO , he also OMO after i left , he cannot tahan other relief .
So 1 day we met at Pandan Workshop .

He joined me .
Then i request for a older , left 6 months Crown ( hope for scrap early ) , and replaced by a Sonata after Crown scrap .
I am lucky to have a 4pm taxi .

eh tell u all hor... poolman's taxi very clean one... spotless, no fingerprint on window... so to be his relief must be very clean... stressed... haha... me just the opposite... i will just pay my hirer $3 and i dont even touch up the taxi even a bit... but of course i dont dirty it also lah... and i dont smoke or eat inside... very clean liao...

no lah, ALN. now I'm a sonata hirer...and my partner is....none other than david chong lor. i think we click quite well. (both techies). we are 5-5 partners.
cleaniness, i everyday must clean interior b4 hand over. if got bird shit oso clean. including top up diesel uses up abt 45mins everyday, but what the heck...must take pride in our profession & having a clean taxi is just one aspect.
poolman, i told david you tot he was sonata omo. we laughed until pengz. anyway seems like he enjoys the sonata. i'll remind him to contribute more to this forum. yah 4pm taxi very rare. 4-5pm good business cos fewer taxis otr, lots of calls though no surcharges.

Alvin , how u know ? I told you before ? Or u saw my cab ?Indeed , i hate dust , finger prints , anything that is obvious to see .... Even the wiper a bit problem , i changed the whole wiper , cannot tahan windscreen dirty .
My relief not dirty , either not very clean la ...it's customers who dirty the cab .

yo kelvin, wow another not so taxi driver kind of name....those younger english educated taxi driver usually steven lah, or peter lah... haha... orh clementi... i know that place inside out...but recently lots of construction in centre... and the nice claypot bo liao how long u omo till you found DC? so now u start 5am till 4pm? and david night shift... he can see clearly at night bo? ask u, he weekday drive till 3am? or 12am idle liao? david is a funny person...

hey alvin, omo 2 months initially. dc is 2nd relief, 1st one retired recently.
mustn't say bad things about my partner.mornings solid, logon mdt and wait for call. sure have cos clementi pple damn rich, plus got sunset way/ulu pandan/west coast/jln lempeng all condo or "my grass" (houses). but june & dec jiak lat. no angmohs, no school.
me, i'm abit idle lah usually start around 6.30am to 4pm. as u said, must maintain the interest. too many hours at the wheel not good for health. that's why i have a daily 1 hour tea break with my buddies. long term in this business, we have to maintain good health. chiong too much for too long surely will result in health problems later. not worth earning another $30 more per day. every wed. somemore take "1/2 day leave" to go swimming in the afternoon. Now sundays want to let out somemore...

ur schedule can sustain long term lah... About 8.5hrs driving daily with wed swimming... good life liao loh... but why not swim on Fri? my hirer say Fri day shift less busy...not true?

I wonder why does LTA need 4 weeks to issue vocational license after passing the test....since the test is online and everything computerised :(

u send each other home? meaning he got to drive till 630am? and you got to drive till 5pm? now my 2 hirers in my same estate but not near... for me, i prefer my hirer to be very near me although i got own transport some times... Cos need to transfer and drive home take up some resting time and energy... but hard to find match lah...
