Start 15:43 to 15:53, about 10 minutes 3.8km Fare $5.80 Start 13:56 to 14:27, about 71 minutes 20.4km Fare $17.20 Start 07:19 to 07:35, about 16 minutes 9.7km Fare $15.40($8.80+Booking $3.50+Peak $3.10) What you think about the above three with your experience. Which is the best after all. Can share with us over here for an answer.

quite clear cut leh... the best is the one with highest collection per minute... another important thing to consider is the destination... destination matters cos its affects your next collection esp for nite trip... talking about destination.. some are really cock places - night safari - jurong island - check points - sentosa - seletar camp

But i did it in 10 minutes , and i am always ready for another similiar job within cbd .

night shift about same 20+... sometimes i got 30+ on Sat nite... but that is not important to me... still nett profit and the number of hours I drive are the key points I care...

I really dun remember my top , but has to be on a New Year Eve , it has to be .
New Year Eve , drove like mad-dog from 4pm to 6am ... still a large amount of people waiting for cab home at 5.30am , from those St James to Zouk to Boat Quay , Clarke Quay ......
I never concern so much about quantity , i only looked at Quality ( $$$$ ) .
For those soon-to-be night shift drivers , before confirming the days u taking up as relief , please look at the calender , please dun miss out on New Year Eve .

For what if 25 customers , average per trip $5 ?
I would prefer 10 customers , $20 per trip .
Quality , not quantity , my preference .

If survey reported earning is up from $153 to $159 in Jan 2008, then logically, the current average earning must have dropped by at least $10 from $159 due to higher fuel.... and that means at least $300 dollar per month or $3650 per year... quite a lot... not forgetting now got more ERP liao... these 2 weeks would be tough... monitoring

wow u got VL 10 years and never drive? must pay $20 each year? for relief, try comfort/city best... cos larger pool of hirer to match road network? if day shift sure must know the various routes to town... next know routes to industrial areas e.g. IBP, expo, Tuas, alexandra, AMK ind... slowly pick up key building names... which drop off points... turn in from which road etc... if you not familiar yet, i would say read the street directory... one day read few areas... if can, even better to drive around to familarise a bit... but drive around with a purpose, dont just drive and learn nothing... ERP knowledge also must...that comes together with road knowledge...otherwise catch no balls... after mastering routes then talk about where got pax...otherwise info overload but to me, most important is still driving skill... u should be seasoned driver? when u starting? if can, start on a sat... less crowd, less jam... if start on mon... can be nightmare
