eh drive..congrats. but take note september got one week school holiday. this week usually takings are bad for day shift, really have to hunt for pax and very few calls..no students no teachers. nite shift i think minimal impact. try not to start during this week otherwise very easily discouraged.

one of my chinese speaking friend , actually fail his first interview , for " Cannot speak english " .
Nowadays selection getting more difficult .
Thank God i passed when the intake was easy as ABC .

One of my old pal failed ...for his medical . Blood pressure too high .
Like that also fail ?

so before going for a medical , make sure sleep well overnight .
Not enuf sleep can caused high blood pressure .

Failed landmark and route , knn common .
I passed easily , cos i am a travelling salesman , travel all shopping centres in S'pore . Cannot escape common landmark .
Those people who failed , usually are those ex-production line players , or white collar fellas ..... indoor salesman etc .... those expose to very less outdoor activities .

aiya... VL as long as no big medical problem, speak some english... hard to fail... but that is only the beginning... long hours daily on the road is the real killer... add in the jam, bus lane, road network knowledge, ERP knowledge, rush for call, traffic cam, speed cam, fighting for pax, cutting lane, CBD pick up rule, road works, high accident excess, blind spots, rush toilet breaks, carpark summons, fussy pax, vomit....knn.... wonder how i survive till now...

if you ask me what 2 things give you a best head start, i would say good driving skill, then good road knowledge

just wondering, will cabbies get so-called nasty if you were to snap photographs of their cabs..

Maybe one day , i organise a " Night-out ' @ Duxton Road .
A simple one , no drunk session , just a meet-up .... for men cabbies only .
Maybe if more people , like 10 or more cabbies join me , i can open 2 Chivas Regal on me , cheap cheap $120 per bottle only . The rest u guys dutch . Hahahahah , should be fun .

and also all cabbies here are comfort/city cab..... so boring only cookie is SMRT (but maybe also change liao).... anyone switching to other taxi companies? i like to meet those driving red wish, prime taxi, private yellow top,.... but maybe those cabbies not used to online chat... haha

hi! Poolman, i'm driving prime cab toyata (smaller cc, not wish), OMO lah... i like to be alone.. sharing is quite lay-chay lah...
. i'll be driving from 11pm to 11 am. -

me..me.. i'm switching to prime taxi in 3 weeks time..
