u like to drive manual car or manual taxi? got a lot of difference hor... taxi you pressed clutch at least 200 times one night...haha and i hope you tested the condition of manual taxi? taxi clutch must use strength to press hor... and the accelerator must press all the way whole night... not like car where u press a bit only... put it simply, i was shocked to feel the condition of the manual crown... even though i used to drive manual cars.. very old ones some more... anyway try and share your feedback with me... maybe 32 years old can lah...haha

ann, not to be wet blanket further, but just to alert you that driving crown on rainny days must be very careful... the brake and tyres are the worst I have experienced...this comfort, tyres also want to stinge.... after driving crown for 5 months, i won't take crown after midnite or raining days... apologies to all crown cabbies here... no offence meant...

thanks ALN for remind me of the crown, i just want to try crown. if not feel good then also can change to sonata ma... for manul taxi per day need to press clutch 200 times, think is almost the same as my last time job driving tow head think also press clutch 100++ times and is much more harder than taxi..

sonata got 1 yr contract
My Sonata no contract cos over a year old already. 1year 3months old when I got it early this month.Mileage was over 251k km when I collected.
Crown hirers do get more cash incentives tho.

hi everyone i just take my taxi, today is my first day of driving taxi can anyone hine me how to look for pax? if hdb site go one round no pax isit mean empty car faster go city area look for pax? thanks

perhaps you might wish to wait at taxi stands, peak periods sure have commuters who will want to take cab..

or if you're residing in the western side, on every friday evenings (about 5pm), you might wish to drive down to Jln Bahar where the CDA is located, sure bound to have commuters & they may ask you to bring them to the eastern side..

yo ann, collect taxi then ask? first day drive around to familiar car and some route... feel like taking pax then take a few... think about your driving schedule. OMO? nite? day? weekends? if omo must drive 15 hours... if nite or day shift must drive at least 10 hours... if u are millionaire already, then up to you.... haha day shift must catch the 7 to 10am biz around HDB... nite shift must catch the 5 to 10.30pm biz in town... if need relief, register fast cos take time to get relief... good luck btw, where u stay?
