  It's very stressful to start off as OMO when you are venturing into taxi business, I was one of them, should have started as a Comfort or CityCab relief driver back then.

  It has been almost 2 month after gotten my taxi license...still trying to take my first step to try out relief....maybe I am lack of confident due to unfamiliar with the road names/streets.... :(

But driving must have some standard.... that is still the most important I feel... road knowledge is only second

  hello to all, today is my 1st mth omo with prime taxi, toyata fielder, so far so good lah.

  only topup Gas is abit troublesome. some time gas stn down, low air pressure ,long queue.... only 4 case for the mth.

  haha… tell you, when i first started as a relief, alot of things also duno… dun even know MOS, zouk, double O, tanjong pagar and yet still dare to whack Sat nite… haha…

  the very first day that was Sunday, collected my yellow Toyota Crown  with the key started the engine, my round just exit the car park out to the main road at Sengkang. My first  pax was lady flag...Dhoby Ghaut.

  My first day of taxi driving kena valentine's eve & Fri somemore,don know head tail straight away chiong into town...very happy when get 1st pax fm Suntec to duxton hill,reach already hapi hapi collect money only to find out I forget charge $3 CBD surcharge hahaha 

   

  Sat nite improve alot & start to take calls,Fri & sat total nett $320 fxxking happy:) though compare to old birds here consider lousy already haha

   

  I really like the part after midnight pick up pax from town & chiong HDB estate then like driving F1 chiong back to town again pick up more pax seeing the meter with 50% extra darn shiok

   

  A fun weekend for a new bird like me:)

  So... how is day, now after trying solo,  what is the different btw those media report everyday on national paper, bullshit rite.... now you know, what is all about.

  Hi Kinwashi gd day to u:)

   

  Fri I collected taxi at 4pm & start driving at 5pm sharp. Drive like mad till 6.15am (Total run 392km as most trips are withnin town except aft midnite) I calculate Crown can do 10km/l so diesel should be around $40+-

   

  Sat Start 4.30pm end 6am total run 469km

   

  I believe because I'm OMO I don't have to rush put diesel/wash taxi  b4 5am so that I have xtra few hrs to earn more midnite trips,that could be the reason my taking is slightly gd:)

   

  Also I don't waste time looking for pax aft alighting people into estate instead I took xressway chiong back town chop chop

   

  I give myself a target which is from 5pm to 1159pm earn to cover rental & diesel,then 12am to 6am earn my pay:)

  teolk, my opinion is for omo to make sense, either u get many rental free day to compensate, or u must driving at least 15 hours... else, find a relief is more profitable and healthy... true lah, the main benefits of omo is 100% flexibility and you cheery pick the best hours to drive plus no need to deal with some problematic relief.... but as i said, u also must drive 15 hours daily... otherwise should get a relief... or at least get a relief for a few days...then you rest and war again... haha
