  When i was an OMO , kena Tuas ? No need to see liao .... straight PIE > KJE> CCK , CCK peak hour still got plenty of bookings nowadays .

  Guru ALN. From Sengkang to Toa Payoh SPH Lorong 1. No CTE...Pax request, so which other alternative routes you will recommend if you are in control with your Taxi.Can share with your experience.

  Sengkang to Toa Lor 1 w/o CTE got many ways depend on where in Sengkang and Traffic conditions: 1. Smoothest: Sengkang East Drive all the way to upper serangoon - braddell- toa payoh... 2. Shortest: Buangkok green - Yio CK - AMK 1 - Lor Chuan - braddell - toa... 3. I hate this (CTE better): Buangkok green - AMK 5 - AMK 8 - bishan - braddell - toa 4. If start from Fernvale and dont want Yio CK - CTE, damn irritating... so how you go, Guru squared?

  Why only during rainy days cab are so demand. On-Call no need to wait many and abundants sudden pour in, the calls comes in nonstop! This kind of pattern i notice it for sometime. Why is it so. Mentor Poolie with your years of experience.

  Thank. But, this pax given me a different way, Yio Chu Kang, Serangoon Garden Way, than Lorong Chuan toward Braddell than Toa Payoh. Mdm why Serangoon Garden Way just follow instruction. Later part in the afternoon another Pax from Poh Huat West also intructed me this same way. just wondering who found this new way. They told is, some new recommendation by old season Taxi drivers. So will you do this in furture.

  similar to my number 2: except that they skipped the YCK - AMK 1 junction...and take the lor chuan - AMK 1 junction instead... should be a bit less jam but single lane road hor, and now there are 2 right turns instead of 1... But in the morning, still cannot escape the killer jam along Yio CK towards serangoon... I passed by there everyday to work but luckily i can turn into poh huat earlier... just take the CTE lah... ERP $1.5 only right?

  clementi road from bukit timah to Dover ACS. I asked pax, turn left into commonwealth first or turn left at dover road... she said see the traffic light at clementi road-commonweath junction first... haha... so sometimes i will also decide last min depending on lights... esp those turn right type... and peak hours, if can, avoid turn-right type... common to have long q and q 2 times... blood can boil if you are the hungry type... haha

  St james to CTE midnight: Take kamp bahru-bukit merah or lower delta-bukit merah? Most cabbies and pax prefer the former... i look at map... not much difference... but go along lor although usually i hate winding and low speed limit road

  Tamp mall to flora road (off loyang ave) Sat afternoon: Straight forward: Tamp 4-Tamp 7-Loyang... but jam around Tamp Mall... blood boiling... I risked Tamp 4 - Tamp 5 - PIE - Loyang Ave... kena f by pax... but me still happier... haha...too many traffic lights going by direct route... Town to East Coast Seafood: ECP exit marine parade correct... but service road too many hump and road hoggers... so i will just risk taking the bedok exit... I observe... if drive fast and no jam... pax usually wont feel longer and complain... East Coast seafood to town: Enter ECP near Fort road entrance or nearer to Bedok entrance?.... this one me confirm wont ask... just whack bedok entrance cos much faster Parkway Parade to Airport: Make a U turn then enter ECP at Marine Parade/siglap or go straight and enter ECP by Tanjong Katong? u should know my style liao... haha

So will you Not that taxi driver taught them , they stayed there , so they travel all kinds of roads to Toad Payoh , they just knew that time , which road is not jam , and cheapest . A few decade ago , Lorong Chuan is a straight road all the way to Toad payoh , that's why . From YIO CK Road . Not even Serangoon gdn do this in furture.

  Seafood centre is always Bedok ma ..... definitely not Marine Parade exit , no my way , if customer complain , i give receipt , tell them go Comfort HQ complaint , i do no wrong .

  Risk...Just happen yesterday at about 4.50pm oready put up my sign Change Shift just hantam Punggol. Wow too good to believe one pax along the route at Ang Mo kio st 53. Hand signal T3. Guru ALN like this kind, do you still take the last order. Will be returning the taxi at 5.20pm. your comment....Normally can you make it with Sonata this marathon runner machine.

  Yeah , we drive everynight night shift will go back Kampong Bahru , cos along K Bahru Road , we also 100km/h , all the way into CTE , then 120km/h , no compromise .

  can ... providing the handover time not disrupted , not even for 1 minute . Dun take the trip and call me : " hey boss , late for 30 minutes " , one time can , many times i buay song liao .

  Why?.... I, had came across from this few months driving Taxi in my mind, along the road i cruising whichever routes with the Busy sign or Change shift, Look... along the road, still paxs showing hand signal they want a cab. But a as cab driver inside the Taxi, i really puzzle without an answer. Sometime pax are figthing among each other, to get into the cab first, this kind of Kiasu syndrome did you ever encounter alway. What is your comments. But why? are they still jumble mumble in many way of available in forum or paper about we Taxi drivers. Actually we are solving their tranportation need and we provided them. So what wrong as a Taxi driver part.

Sometime pax are figthing among each other, to get into the cab first, this kind of Kiasu syndrome just demand and supply... after midnight, opposite happens...one pax flag, 3 cabs fight to get pax... but if me taking a cab, i wont want to wait too long... if got long pax q, i will either call a cab or take train... if demand so hot until cant even call a normal cab, i call merc cab... If take cab still must q for 45 mins, take cab for what?... Similarly, if take cab still want to take shorter but slower route, take cab for what?

  Simei st 1 to woodlands checkpt? i see checkpt got jam first or not... if got jam, either marsiling mrt or reject... haha 1. Fastest: simei road-U turn-PIE-TPE-SLE-BKE or simei road-upper changi east-TPE... 2. Shorter (slightly only): xilin - tamp 5 - tamp 1 - tamp 10 - TPE - SLE - BKE 3. Shorter (slightly): Simei road-Tamp 2- Tamp 9-Tamp 12-TPE-SLE-BKE But I sure whack route 1, dont waste time So which other way u took, mr kin?
