Was at Tiong Bahru with my fren, and boarded his taxi on New Year's Eve. Really spoilt my mood.
When we boarded his taxi, we specifically said we will be going to 2 places, AMK and Yew Tee. There he drove his taxi on. However, after 20-30metres, he started saying he will not be able to drive us to 2 places as he wanted to go to golden landmark by 1130 to ferry passengers. He should have told us before he started his cab.
Then, he stopped his taxi suddenly and ask us to get down. Demanded i should say. And ask us to pay for the cab fare. This is ridiculous! I am taken for a ride without reaching my destination?!!! Payment for a unwarrented service?! Comfort cab can do much better than this!
Rating for taxi driver... less than 1. It is New Year's Eve! Come On...!

Took a Comfort Sonata to Woodlands, taxi was very clean and tidy, driver was neatly dressed, polite and reply only when talked to. Drives very fast (110km/hr), overtakes traffic smoothly and at all times I feel secure because I can feel his confidence.
Journey back, Comfort Crown, dirty and cluttered with street directory, coupons, envelopes, mobile phone with headset wires all over the dash board. Driver coughs and wind down window and spit outside. Answers his mobile phone and drives very slowly. Later he started scratching his body. Uses only 1st, 3rd and 5th gear. On highway goes below 90km/hr and can see his selfish attitude (others die ok as long as I don't die). Going uphill, won't downshift and you can feel the car trembling. A VERY UNCOMFORTABLE RIDE!!!
Not Sonata or Crown but the driver, why do people do not take pride in their job or for the matter themselves.

Yo! ALN, yep me still driving. Me getting more and more uptight these days, me think the traffic is getting to me, traffic jams, accidents, more 'bad' drivers (wondering what the driving school are teaching), even inconsiderate pedestrians who stroll across crossings.
Yes, business is very bad lately.
