Ya lor. No direct road that cut across the town. All the road curve here curve there, turn here turn there. -
so deathwish, which route u taking currently to Batok? should be similar wat...

in terms of traffic flow, i think pasir ris is best... cos the town is rectangular in shape easy to enter/exit cos got expressway and 2 main road running parallel...

upper thomson to commonwealth very clear cut wat take lornie-adam-farrer-queenway reach liao.... this route is intentionally built to form a circular 'expressway' around town i.e. from portdown AYE-queensway-farrer-adam-lornie-braddel-bartley... only missing the eastern continuation

AMK take CTE to commonwealth is indeed one big round...next time ask pax first... otherwise kena upside down...haha

driving down towards Tuas direction on the PIE, you MAY experience heavy traffic forming up on lanes 1 & 2 at upper jurong rd/corporation rd exit, the flyover. in the mornings especially ard 7.45am+.
i immediately saw this and this was what i did.
chiong, signal left, keep left, exit.. drive straight to jalan boon lay/jln bahar junction at sheng shiong there, turn right... straight down and enter back PIE(Tuas).

Please use BKE>KJE > exit Sungei Tengah , use Brickland Road , it's the shortest , cheapest .
Unless it's HillView Side ***, can use exit Dairy Farm Road > Up Bt Timah > Hill View Ave .
*** denotes Bt Btk East Ave 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 , Bt Btk St 25 etc ...

Or turn left into Jalan Bahar , turn right at Boon Lay Way ( Jurong Point ) , then all the way straight to Upper Jurong Road > Benoi Road also can .... up into PIE also can .

Alvin , Snick go by Corporation Road > Jurong Wst Ave 2 > turn right into Jalan Bahar > up PIE again .U know temple side ?

My this friend took T.Blangah Road > Alexandra Road > AYE .
AYE >>>> AYE >>>> AYE >>>> still AYE ..... non stop !
Up til AYE / PIE junction , turned left into Tuas Roas , via PIE >>>> KJE >>> CCK .
KNN peak hour $30+ ....
Next day ..... handphone ring ring ..... must bring taxi go meter inspection , after inspection , kena warning , demarit points , and pay difference to pax .
Cos pax complaint !
