children be more mature... just only that little two pieces of red Singapore notes each valued at ten dollar... you think cabby just need to hired a taxi from the taxi company and come around to hijack just twenty dollars.
OH, well well well, ok! I am never complaint one. I post this topic just for dicussion and not meant for complaint or criticism. What i mean "DAY LIGHT ROBBERY" is "very expensive" and not that what you think "hijack" or "something worse".
I may be broke(poor), but I never hurt others. I never insult others even if I can.May be these are the very rich people's behaviors.I'm terribly sorry if I was wild or hurt someone.

but I feel very painful when all ppl said like that. I'm not serious about this. If I never post this topic, I forget this taxi fare already and it is no prob for me. I will take taxi again if i need. and normally If i'm very curious about something , I never come to forum and post the topic. I google it and research it. For this taxi matter, I post this topic because I feel like dicussion rather than researching which is boring. now very good luck! I was told as if i'm such a stupid person in the world.

my opinion is on the taxi driver point of view. headline looked fault is on taxi side, my explanation is that not so cheapo just doing this for that extra income, as mention "DAY LIGHT ROBBERY" is wrong... so just make a correction and let you know of your ignorant. ya. let it be....

so the cabbie can be sacked and go jiak saithis kind of comments to we taxi driver as an example.

aiya, dun be upset liao... bus and taxi is exactly like hawker and restaurant.... u decide based on your taste, mood, wallet loh... u cant expect to eat restaurant and pay $3 right? but then pple are strange lah... they eat restaurant they never complain the cost.... but they take taxi, they will write to forum.... haha...

Last week when i was still in Singapore, two of my mates from hk came down to Singapore for business as they are working for an auditing company. So another mate and myself took them out for a detour around Singapore, we caught a cab where a china guy was driving and he overcharged us over a short distance. It was from Chinatown to Little India, at first it was like $4 and it suddenly went up to $13 (he actually went in circles) and my hk mate noticed that got pissed and starting shooting vulgar words at the china guy. He told us to stop nagging, so we got our ride for free =)
