Sometimes i notice Tanah Merah Ferry terminal also with long queues of taxis but Changi Ferry Terminal; which is further down is neglected.
I think its time to impose surcharge on Changi Ferry terminal to entice cabbies to drive all the way there to pick up bookings. So many pax from Changi Ferry terminal trying to book taxis through the phone but were unsuccessful through the various hotlines. So; with surcharge + On Call surcharge, i think could help solve the problem.
I notice around typical shopping centres closing time about 10-10.30pm, many pax also desperate for taxis. clue for cabbies!
It's tactically really ... Shopping centres from 10pm onwards , mostly is going within that zone , we sometimes must shy away this area inorder to have another better connection after that .
eg , at Whitesands SC , Q and pick a pax to P. Ris St 72 , Q for 5 minutes , journey took 10 minutes for $5 , then connect where ? Back to Whitesands again ? To get another $5 for a 15 minutes job ?
It's really a isolated case if one pick one 10pm trip which is more than $10 .
Same to at Lot-1 , At Tampines and at Causeway Point .
Still some cabbies still chose to Q at SC , for quick pick & go ...
