to havelock area, i always exit marina south and take cross street viaduct. any erp is still cheaper than going 1 big round via cantonment road. unless it's still evening peak hours? i kena f 1 time before by local lady. she said willing to pay erp, why never ask her? knn taxi drivers brain already programmed to siam erp gantries mah. now i usually ask them if they want to cut thru' cbd. (like chin swee to airport, havelock->pickering->marina blvd->ecp, like bayshore to ue sq. ecp->rochor->nth bridge->river valley. both start & end points out of cbd) another one is short cut through alexandra technopark $0.60 cheaper than going by pasir panjang rd and u turn if destination is at alexandra terrace cos of the distance and long queue at citilink warehouse u-turn.
