Yes. It's more tiring for those serious TDs who work hard. A career is something where after a few years you expect to be promoted and have a higher salary. A TD can drive for 30 years, still a TD. It's just a job so that you can put food on the table and put your kids through school.
I see... I personally feel that by driving taxi , i should be able to make a simple living. My only concern i have is my monthly housing loan and no cpf savings for retirement.
Being able to work at my own pace, not working under much supervision, no work stress, flexibility, i am willing to give up offdays, sick leave, bonus.
Whether full time relief or sunday super relief, will hirers hesitate to rent out their taxis to a newcomer with no taxi driving experience?

Thanks for reminding me the downsides of being a td. No career prospects , poor health etc. Will take those into my considerations.
Does time passes fast when driving? Everyday is a slow day for me at work.

Not true nowadays. Even you work hard as TD, you get screwed by policies.
Probably becos rental and fuel costs are not within td control.
My expectation is very practical. As long as won't die of hunger, can pay household bills, slowly save up money for occasional short holidays.
