i bollo from lib usually
i go there once a week to act nerdette, check out nerds
i do buy books though very very seldom
maybe like once a year oni
bcos it will be available in the lib in a few mths' time
i just need to wait

there are more than enough at the libraries.
I borrow other books and only buy local ghost stories books.Other local ghost stories books have disappeared with times except Russell Lee still going strong.
I know of a friend who does..
Sometimes buy, sometimes borrow, sometimes download.
Some of the books are really timeless classics.

The most recent one I bought was Mao's Great Famine.
I tot of buying a kind of software (I forgot the name) where you can download all story books into that computer (hand carry). Can download up to more than 10,000 books.
i wonder what made Amazon refuse to sell to Singapore?
could it be.. the Media Destruction Asshats?
but then, i do buy books coz usually the books i like to read will not be found in the libraries

i guess we cannot comply with "everything must be approved and censored" part of the law...
throw the books away...especially economics books...

I buy books to read.
I also end up buying books that I don't read.
