World War Z - Max Brooks
A book about something as campy as zombies, you'd think this was going to be a hilariously campy and idiotic book.
You'd be wrong.
This book is about the 1st person opinions, views, experiences of a zombie apocalypse. The insanity, the struggles, the sacrifices in terms of lives, humanity, sanity.. and the price paid by the human race.
It also tells of the heroism, the depravity and everything else in between in the war.
And it is not much different from humanity's experiences in the past wars.
Gripping read, so much so you forget that it is a work of sheer fiction. Thankfully. 4 out of 5
oh,
So Albert Wesker's plans did work and almost everybody became zombies, huh?
