SINGAPORE: Molly the mobile library bus for the young has been upgraded, and reloaded.
The National Library Board (NLB) has retrofitted it with new equipment and services.
Molly is fresh from a 12-week makeover and packed with assets to show for it.
It is now equipped with eight iPads, each filled with fun, interactive applications for visitors to play with.
It also carries a collection of 3,000 books, mostly for those aged 7 to 15.
It also now has a built-in ramp, as well as a book-drop for easy book returns.
Molly operates seven days a week, and stops at each school or organisation for half a day.
NLB is now raising funds for a smaller mobile library.
Members of the public can visit GoLibrary on NLB's website for more information about Molly's schedule.
Schools and organisations interested in getting Molly to visit can also email [email protected] for details.
