FISH CURRY
Ingredients
- 2 small ikan selar, cleaned
- 2 tbsp oil
- 4 shallots, 5 dried chillies. 1 clove garlic, 1 slice ginger, ¼ stalk serai (pound altogether)
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- 1 brinjal, cut into 3 cm pieces
- 2 ladies' fingers (okra), cut into 3 cm pieces
- 150g grated coconut for 200ml coconut milk
- 1 tbsp tamarind, 60ml water (mix together)

Necessary Equipments
Frying Pan, Muslin Bag, Paring Knife, Pounder
Instructions
- Heat oil. Fry pounded ingredients until fragrant
- Add curry powder and fry for 1 minute
- Add brinjal, ladies' fingers, fish, coconut milk and salt. Bring to the boil
- Simmer until vegetables are cooked
- Add tamarind juice. Bring to the boil again
