  i can do the same, free here.....
  
  1) Auto-boot up programmes
  Go to Run, type msconfig, then go to Start Up tab, then from there u can see what softwares WILL BE executed upon reaching desktop, you can turn on/off ALL of them, which includes your AV and firewall but you may not be able to access internet if you are using cable cos the .exe is not running.
  
  Go to Run, type regedit, then scroll to HKey_Local_machine\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\Run
  HKey_Local_machine\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\RunServices
  u can delete the keys (not reversible) u want so dat the programme will not autostart next time. Msconfig also loads the info from this registry path, you can do this if your msconfig.exe is missing.
  
  Old fashioned
  1) Win.ini, the Load or Run section, the top few lins
  2) system.ini, look beside the boot section, should have nothing beside explorer.exe, if have its a virus 100%.
