  Hi all,
  
  Am looking to build a Intel system purely for surfing the web,reading emails,online chats like MSN,IRC,ICQ etc.,watching movies and work uses like MS Words,MS PowerPoint etc.
  
  Can anyone recommend any websites to visit etc. for me to build the system above?Thanks...budget is below 400.

  if there is no gaming involve, a PIII system is more than adequate for ur needs

  I need to have something with XP.As its for my gf,and she is familiar with XP only.No gaming involved,mebbe for games like THE Sims once in awhile only.

  Got one sys 1.7G Celeron, without monitor.
  No HDD and RAM. 2 yr old. Intersted?
  
  Let it go @ $ 200 you go to buy a new HDD ard $120 and a 256 RAM $60. It's wifin ur budget.

  You can still get it uploaded with windows xp with a upgrade disc which you can get from sim lim... or you can buy the windows xp OEM at around $168 at sim lim and install it inside...

  if u want your budget to be below $400 with the OS, it is possible... my friend can deduct $50 away if you doesnt want the monitor... total cost will be $250 + $168 = $418. It is still quite an low budgeted PC...

  when he buy harddisk, he need to buy OS as well mahz.. $168 for OS...
