Hey I need some help from you computer whizzes out there. thanks! Hmm.. I recently bought a MSI motherboard with the Azalia Sound Utility but when I attempted to install the driver for the on board soundcard, it gave me an error message saying that the device is removed or not installed. It can't be cos it's an on board sound card. What's the problem here?
This is from memory ... so might be a bit ko yak
cotrol panel -> system -> hardward -> device Manager -> look for your sound componment...
Is it there...
Nope... and when i try to run some audio softwares like musicmatch it says it can't detect my sound card.
I am not physically there. is your sound card separate from the board. (I not hardware person, not even PC person as well)
You got read MSI manual? I know my old MSI got some slots I cannot use because its preprogrammed for some cards. Did you try moving the card
Did you supply power to it.
Never mind thanks... I solved the problem simply by enabling it at the bios setup.. LOL
