  Does anyone know where to get cheap Microsoft Office ?? Heard there are those student kind ?? What difference ??

  all are the same... except that student edition u need to be a student to buy it...

  Not only that you've to be a student to buy it, but you'll have to BE a student to use it ... Once you've gotten out of school, it wouldn't be 'legal' to continue to use it. That's why its an academic edition...

  You can't use the academic version to create stuff to sell commercially. E.g. Like coming up with reports and research to sell.
