oakley glasses warranty

  Recently i jus bought an Oakley glasses....O2. there is a 1yr warranty. heard from my fren tAT there is a lifetime warranty whr if i wana change my frame, i cud go trade in my frame n mayb pay some bal...... how true issit? anibody noe?

  yes..it is true...if u have the warranty card valid n the receipt..they might charge abit la..im not sure abt the price..it depend on which model u have...for my case..i pay 30 dollars for my oakley sunglass...i mean the frame..btw..u can go to STANLEY ST ..its NEAR THE lau pa sat..

  u mean the shop which u buy actucalli help u to change the frame? mmmmmmm got hua at, $30 more n u get a new frame. they got sae wad condition the old frame mus be in?

  dun mind me using this like i have a pair of Oakley XX sunglasses,black frame and ice lens.conditon of frame is 10/10 and lens is 9.5/10.still under warranty and with all neccesary documents and oakley cleaning silk bag.bought for $240 willing to let go for ard $175.interested pls PM me.thanks

  i have no idea whether tis is a silly reply but i do know of ppl selling their oakley warranty cards after they lost their sunglasses..haha..warranty is for damaged items and not misplaced items mah right.....

  haha...how cum can lose lei?..hmmm..yea...u can actualli change a new frame if ur existing frame give way..like crack all those kind of stuff..but just the frame...THEY nver state that LENS are also replacable..the warranty nver cover for the LEns..just the frame..if u bought the same frame..then they will change it to the origin frame..NO CHANGING of other frame..its in STANLEY ST behind the 4D BIG SCREEN WHERE old apek sit there to see the NO. hehe..btw..any1 of u guys selling the OAKLEY TRIPOD STAND..where they place the spec on it..

  They do , when a newer variant come out , and your frame happens to be spoiled , for example changing from the old to the new straight jackets.
  
  That one is the oakley display head , im sure there's an official name for it though , i heard it's made of expensive materials and in addition , made in USA , costs quite expensive in comparison to sunglasses though.
  
  Actually the warranty got cover for the lens , but only for 30 days , that is excluding scratches , but including manufacturing defects.

  If a sunglasses has been bought for over 1 years old , doesn't really make a big difference with or without warranty . Thats what i feel.

  mmmmmm so in conclusion, tink oakley specs quite value for money to buy ar..... after buying for like 1 wk, i realise that the size of my spec quite small leh.... posible for me to go to the branch to change 1 with a bigger size?

  cannot lah . oakley frames are good to buy in a sense like other glasses it has a depreciation but oakleys are better because they got resale demand.
  and their wires offer sufficient impact protection (not the lenses)
