hi i'm planning to get a new laptop ... no idea which one to get any one got good suggestions or review on that ? pls help

For your laptop, what is your major use of it ? for work and mobile usage or ?

i will be moving out to stay and i need a lap top to replace my current desk top for work ... will be using software like photoshop and stuff ? thankz

Why dun u get the TravelMate 4102WLMi instead?
Its only $1898 (after $100 cashback). Can save at least $500.
The specs is abt the same, jus tat the Ram is 256 rather than 512 (i got a free upgrade to 512 when i bought it) and the HDD is 60GB rather than 80GB. My fren is working in Funan, a free upgrade of the Ram can be done i guess. -

I think if you want to use those things, I will suggest getting any notebook that support 80GB hdd, dvd-combo, 256ram,128mb display... it's the average requirements... and 80GB is enough for you to store your edited pictures all these... the ram maybe you want to upgrade to 512mb for higher speed...

intel cpu wont give u any good performance.
they can only give u Ghz or Mhz not performance.

thanks guys ! got my Acer Aspire 1692WLMi laptop ... dun really like the ferrari series so decided to stick to Aspire and i heard the amd laptops heats up too much and its pretty heavy ...
Imac - sad to say i dun know how to use Imac and i heard that most installers dun work with Imac .....
anyway got my ram upgraded to 1g and got an offer from dealer so decided to go with it thankz -
