I have a Creative Nomad ^2 1.5GB for sale
Condition of 9/10, used for 14mths, Creative OEM earpiece replaced with a Panasonic $29.90 earpiece with mini remote to control volume... As it's already 14mths, warranty naturally is already over... Looking for around $160... -

I used to possess a creative product , but i was shocked by their customer service .
Products which are no longer manufactured by creative and off the warranty will not be repaired even if you pay money !
Im going to purchase a Sony 20 gb player next. no more creative for me. -
Creative mp3 players also do not use the same spare parts for their mp3 players. So if your mp3 player is faulty , good luck.
Im now stuck with a faulty mp3 player. -

I guess your product is already long taken off the shelf and thus they do not have anymore spare parts. I've friends who sent their almost 2 years product for servicing, and they flown in the parts from oversea. I was thinking of getting an iPod actually , but iPod is made-in-china , i hate made-in-china products , decided to go for a Sony 20 GB mp3 player , at least they have japanese reliability.

i got myself one a year ago and the LCD screen died about 2 months later. naturally was pretty pissed and brought it to service since it was still under 1 year warranty. made a tedious trip to the service centre in some ulu place.
all was well and i went to collect my player in about 2 weeks (had to trip down again damn sian). when i went there i tested the player and it looked fine.
happily i went home only to discover that the LCD screen was actually slightly off from the original position. well made no big deal about it and went ahead to upload songs and start to use it after 2 weeks of absence.
the first upload was successfully no problems. then i played some songs no problem too suddenly at the fifth or sixth song the player jammed. damn. the LCD display is stuck at the fifth/sixth song title and the buttons wont respond. ok nvm i connect it to the computer again and found that the files are still in there so whats the problem now i thought
then while i was pondering what to do next the player juz died like that. think it got a heart attack or what. it juz wont respond at all; the buttons dont work; the lcd jammed; the computer dun regonize it anymore.
damn i was so pissed i slammed it on the ground went out and bought myself a creative muvo.
and now i hear creative sucked too. god help us.

Creative last at least 1 year +
I wonder what kind of quality they put into the hard-drive before manufacturing and selling it...
I still rather go for Sony , japanese quality is always the best -

My friend want to sell his 1GB MP3 with a Panasonic Earpiece. Looking at $150. Only MP3 and Earpiece. No warranty as it's a lucky draw gift. In good condition. Selling at $250 on Yahoo! Item used for around 4months.
