  that's worth a thought but how good and reliable is it? Are the specs as per standard digicams in the market? Sorry to ask some many questions as I am really clueless about such things.

  For purchasing of digital camera, the main factor will be the amount of optical zoom as that will determine your camera's clarity.

  For digital cameras, its more advisable to get those reknown brands like : sony,canon,fujifilm,olympus etc...

  The DV 600 is a DV cam with other functions such as still cam, voice recorder and others, of course u cannot compare it with a still cam, they are diffrent in their primary function
