The powers quite high. Are you sure that this is the correct powers? Looks like my school's microscope, but their power very low. Highest is 25x nia.

I only follow wat is written. There's also microscope with higher powers up till 1000X and above. This type do not require battery. Just adjust the reflective mirror to reflect light in order to see.
Btw, when u say 25x, do u mean the objective lens? If so, the feature on the box reads 10X, 20X and 45X for the objective lenses. -
No idea what kind of lens my school uses. My school's microscope also don't use batteries. These are for students. Anyway, we don't use it to see bacteria, so it doesn't really matter.
