You pay a certain amount of money and they give you the amount on check, so it makes it safer to post overseas or anything. Does any such thing exist in Singapore?

Just go to a bank and tell them u need to apply for cashier order. then they will do the rest, you will need to fill up a form though. there is a charge for it like SGD$5 for each one unless you are paying yourself. then it will be free
